This calculator is an approximation which does not take into account a range of other physical factors known to increase one's likelihood of ED such as high cholesterol, obesity, and excessive alcohol consumption. In addition, psychological factors such as stress, anxiety, and depression are also known to increase one's risk of developing ED, though such causes were omitted from consideration in the European Urology paper, and, therefore excluded here.
